    WEEKLY SERVICES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS (15/09/2025- 21/09/2025)

    Announcements:

    1. Church Cleaning: St Jude Ward, Glenroy is responsible for Cathedral cleaning and decorating this week.
    2. Young Couples’ Gathering:A gathering for all young couples will take place this Saturday, September 20th, beginning at 9:30am at our Cathedral. This gathering is designed for couples to come together in fellowship, sharing in worship and building meaningful connections. Registration will close on this Tuesday, September 16th,so please register soon if you would like to attend. Registration Link: https://x.gd/SSwOq
    1. Holy Qurbana and Adoration for VCE students: All VCE students and their families are encouraged to attend a special Holy Qurbana and Adoration arranged specially for them this Friday, September 19th from 7pm to 9pm. Please encourage all students preparing for the VCE examinations to attend.
    2. Direct Debit Drive: Your parish councillors will soon be approaching you to either begin a direct debit or increase your current contributions. Youth who have started working are also requested to contribute whatever they can to the Church. Your contributions are especially vital now as we seek to appoint a new Assistant Vicar to accommodate the increasing spiritual needs of our Parish and our children and youth.
    3. Parish Priest Out of Station: Fr Mathew will be journeying as a pilgrim to the Door of Hope in Rome as part of the Jubilee year. He will be departing this Saturday. In his absence, Fr. Augustine Kachiramattam will attend to the spiritual needs of our Parish. If you have any pastoral needs, such as house blessings, please contact our Kaikkarans to make the necessary arrangements. Please keep Mathew Acha in your prayers as he embarks on this journey, and he will also keep our parish in his prayers as he visits the holy sites during this pilgrimage.
    4. Catechism Holidays:There will be no Catechism classes until Sunday, 5th October. 
    5. Save the Date-Catechism Annual Day:Please free up your calendars for Saturday, November 8th. Our Catechism students are preparing many wonderful programs to present to all of you.

    1. Monday 15th September: Ramsa at 6:15pm, Adoration at 6:30pm andNovena to St Alphonsa and Holy Qurbana at 7:00pm.
    2. Tuesday 16th September:Adoration at 9:00amand Holy Qurbana at 9:30am.
    3. Wednesday 17th September: Ramsa at 6:15pm, Adoration at 6:30pm and Novena to St JosephandHoly Qurbana at 7:00pm.
    4. Thursday 18th September:Adoration at 9:00amand Holy Qurbana at 9:30am.
    5. Friday 19th September: Ramsa and Holy Rosary at 6:15pm, Holy Qurbana at 7:00pm followed by Adoration until 9:00pmfor VCE students. 
    6. Saturday 20th September:Sapra at 8:30am, Novena to our Mother of Perpetual Help(നിത്യസഹായ മാതാവിന്റെ നൊവേന) and Holy Qurbana at 9:30am.
    7. Sunday 21st September:This Sunday is theThird Sunday of the Season of  Elijah- Cross (Sleeva)- Moses and Feast of St Matthew, the Apostle. Please see the schedule below:
