Syro Malabar Teens Movement (SMTM)
Syro Malabar Teens Movement (SMTM) is the official teen movement of the Syro Malabar Church, dedicated to nurturing the faith and character of young adolescents.
SMTM encourages teens to grow as witnesses of Christ in their everyday lives while deepening their understanding of Catholic teachings within the Syro Malabar tradition. The movement aims to foster personal spiritual growth, moral development, and a sense of responsibility towards the Church and society.
Designed for teens aged 13–17, SMTM provides a supportive environment where young people can explore their faith, build friendships, and participate in activities that inspire personal growth and community involvement. It also serves as a journey toward the Syro Malabar Youth Movement (SMYM), preparing teens to take on greater roles in the Church as they mature.
The movement strives to bring together Syro Malabar teens locally and globally, empowering them to contribute positively to their families, communities, and the wider Church.
